July 2020 New Releases

It was kind of tough to find enough books for this month’s post. I think most of it is just that it is the summer and publishers and authors take a bit of a break from everything. The pandemic could also still be part of it too, with many publishers having moved some of their books release dates into the fall. But there are still some great books coming out.

The Crow Rider is a book I have already read and reviewed, but it is still a good book that you should have on your radar. It is a sequel with a very interesting world and magical system.

All these Monsters just caught my eye. I like the author’s other books so I’m sure this one will be just as good. Love the understated cover too!

Burn Our Bodies Down is by the author who wrote Wilder Girls, which I haven’t read yet. This one sounds interesting though. I might give it a chance.

The Book of Dragons is a short story anthology, which I don’t usually go for. But hey this one is about dragons, so you know I’m going to at least give it a chance.

Hard Wired was another book that was suppose to come out earlier this spring but was pushed up. It was a super interesting take on AI and what it means to be human.

Unravel the Dusk was very different from the first book, but I still really liked it. I know some people had issues with it, but I still think it is worth reading if you liked the first one.

Girl, Serpent, Thorn is another book that the cover just kind of caught my eye. Then the summary really got me interested. I am always up for an original fairy tale too.

Axiom’s End is another one that just kind of sounded interesting. I like books about first contacts and this one has a government cover-up which just makes it more appealing.

East of Hounslow has been out for a few years, but I don’t think it has been published in the US yet, or maybe this is its paperback release. Not sure, but it sounds good. I always enjoy an ordinary citizen turned spy story.

Deal with the Devil was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to see what this intrepid group of mercenaries gets up to in the next book.

Only ten books this month, but next month and the fall should be pretty busy with new releases. Well at least this month I can maybe get caught up on the TBR pile!

Are there any books you’re looking forward to next month?
