WWW Wednesday

It has been a busy week with school starting up again. Lots of evenings spent catching up on my reading. The weather continues to be less than stellar, although we do seem to be drying out a tiny bit.

What am I currently reading?

The Paris Apartment is so far pretty good. I’ve been captivated by the story and have a hard time putting this one down when I need to. Luckily the chapters are short!

The Butterfly House is the next book in the Nordic Noir Korner and Werner series. I am only a few chapters in but am enjoying it just as much as the first.

Finally, my hold on Small Favor came through! I have been enjoying this one as much as the others.

What did I recently finish reading?

A Game of Fear was an excellent read and one I really enjoyed. I just love this series, with its great settings, writing, and a mystery that is often hard to figure out.

The Witch’s Heart was delightful and something I really enjoyed. It wasn’t a fast read though, and at times I lost a little bit of interest in it, but I loved the mythology and the characters.

Rebelwing was a slight disappointment. I just never fully engaged in the story nor did I care particularly for any of the characters. Not sure if I will listen to the second book or not.

What will I read next?

Unless another book that I am waiting to be approved for shows up, Gallant will be the next ARC that I read. I am really looking forward to this one!

Appreciate a Dragon day is on January 16, so I hope to be reading The Color of Dragons in celebration. I have heard good things about this one so I am hoping it will be good.

I have decided to go with something I know I will enjoy listening to while I wait for my hold on the next book in the Dresden Files to come through. Hunting Shadows is one of the earlier Rutledge books that I missed when it came out.
