WWW Wednesday

It was an interesting week of reading to be sure. Two of the books I finished were interestingly weird. But the third book was fantastic so that made up for it. I am currently reading some fun ones as well, so this week’s reading is shaping up nicely.

What am I currently reading?

The Midnight Children is quite different from this author’s other books in writing style, but I am enjoying it.

Bad Monkey is such a delight, funny, intriguing and the plot just keeps getting better as we go along.

Godsgrave starts off with a bang and the action hasn’t stopped. So far I am enjoying this second book in the trilogy.

What have I recently finished reading?

The Dragon’s Promise was so enjoyable. There were a few minor issues, but if you liked the first book then I think you will enjoy this one too.

Dare to Know started off interesting and somewhat riveting, but by the end I was so confused and I am still not sure what the fuck it was all about. I kind of got it, but there was just some weird shit by the end, which ruined the whole thing for me.

I almost dnf’d Station Eleven, only because the narrative kept skipping around and all of the characters and little stories didn’t connect. But I stuck it out and eventually most of the plot lines came together, but the ending just didn’t satisfy.

What will I read next?

Nothing More to Tell is the next ARC I need to read for August, and my last before I start on September’s list. I am so glad that I got a copy of this one as her books rarely disappoint.

Friend of the Devil I think will be my next read from the library. It is one I have had my eye on since it published and I am looking forward to finally diving in.

I have a fairly busy weekend, do I am not sure I will be able to finish my current audiobook this week, but I am pretty sure that Billy Summers will be my next one.
