Here are my answers to the questions:

1. Is your birthday in winter or summer?

My birthday is in January. 

2. Do you like when your birthday takes place?

I guess I am ok with it now.  As a kid I always wanted a summer birthday, lots more fun choices for the party when it is warm out.  

3. What’s one song you have been listening to on repeat?

I pretty much only listen to the radio, and I only do that when I am driving.  I do occasionally get songs stuck in my head, but I don’t have one currently, thank god!

4. What’s one book you want to read before the year is over?

This is a tough one, I have quite a few books I want to read, but I think the one at the top is Queen of Air and Darkness.  Whether or not I get it done is dependent on how quick I get it from the library.  I am number 93 with only 60 books, and they are still listing it as on order (Angry face), so I probably won’t get it this year.  Unless of course I break down and buy it. 🙂

5. Are you in high school college or are you not in school at all?

I am done with my formal education, but I am always learning.  Plus I work as an elementary librarian, so I’m still in school. 

6. What is your sign?

I squeak in as a Capricorn, I’m right on the cusp of being an Aquarian though.  

7. Who/ What inspired you to blog?

This is an interesting question.  I started blogging mostly because I wanted a place to review books.  But I was also inspired by many of the book bloggers I was following before I started.  

8. What is one favorite  childhood memory?

I think sitting on the couch with my mom and her reading to me, is one of my favorite memories.  

9. Did anybody foster your love of reading?

I don’t think there was any one person, maybe my father who always gave books as gifts.  I grew up surrounded by books and all of my family read all of the time.  So it was just part of who I was from the beginning.  

10. Do you like to play video games?

If I had been born at the right time, I think I would have been a gamer.  My life was way to busy when video games came to popularity for me to get invested in them,  but I can totally see the appeal.  I played a bit with my son, but alas I wasn’t very good at them. 

11. What is your favorite movie and why?

Another tough one, there are so many, but the one that popped into my head when I read the question was Shakespeare in Love.  It was such a sweet story and a great romance.  Plus, you know Joseph Fiennes, (heavy sigh)
