This is a new weekly meme being hosted by Ashlee over on Books Are 42. Basically there will be a theme for each week and you choose four books to fit that theme. The books can be books you’ve read, books coming out soon, books on your TBR, or a mix of all of the above!
This week’s theme was books with water on the covers. Sounds easy, right? Well it was, but I wanted to make it a touch harder, so I looked for books that had a similar look, and I tried to make them all books on my TBR or ones that I have read, but that part didn’t work out. These all have a similar look to them though.
The water on the cover of That Weekend isn’t super clear, but if you squint and use your imagination you will see it, I swear! This is also the only one that I have read, and it was pretty good as all Kara Thomas’s books tend to be.
Deep Water and The Last Witness are both mystery thrillers with hopefully a lot of suspense. They both sound really good and have maybe moved up a bit on my TBR.
Pacifica is a dystopian pirate story? Yeah, that sounds good so we will go with that. It also has some pretty good reviews and it might be something that I will be in the mood for soon.
Well I hope you enjoyed this week’s Four for Friday post. Come back next week for titles with only three words. Another one that will require that decisions be made!
