Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. It was relaunched on February 15, 2013 by Billy@Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s topic is:

What fictional character would you most like to meet in person?

Anyone who know me, or has read my blog for a few years, will not be surprised by my answer. I have a deep and undying affection for Magnus Bane from Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter series. I would love to spend time with him and hear all the stories he has to tell, and of course let him magic up some goodies for us to eat.

I would also like to meet Kell and Delilah from the Shades of Magic series, actually I would love to meet just about any of the characters from the series, even the villains. But I would especially love to meet Kell and get a chance to see if I can make his magic coat work. His coat is also one of my favorite magical objects that I have ever read about.

I would also love to meet Veronica Speedwell and Stoker from the historical mystery series by Deanna Raybourn. They have such a nice dynamic and Veronica is such a great character. It would be fun to have tea with them and listen to all of their adventures and maybe help out with the next one. I would also like to explore all of the stuff hanging out in Sir Hugo’s conservatory. It sounds like a wonderful place to explore, just full of interesting things.

Finally, this isn’t a character, but I couldn’t pick just one from the series, so I decided that I would just love to visit the city of Ankh-Morpork from the Discworld series. There I could meet just about any of my favorite characters from the series and get to hang out at the Unseen University Library, and maybe even get lost inside it.

I am sure I could come up with quite a few other characters that I would love to meet, but I think I will keep it simple for this post. Until next time…
