Finally a week where I have been able to catch up on my reading! And catch up I did. I managed to finish 4 books this week, and will probably finish two more today. So I am on a role. It has helped that two of the books are pretty short, but I’m not complaining.

What am I currently reading?

The Darcy Myth has been interesting and funnier than I expected. I wish the author had been my English professor in college. I might have enjoyed those classes more.

Broken Souls is an urban fantasy and so far I am enjoying it. The main character is so broken, that you just want to give him a hug and tell him things are going to be ok although I’m pretty sure they won’t be.

The Ot her Passenger is such a good audiobook. I love the narrator, Steven Macintosh and the story has kept me guessing and turning those pages to see what happens next.

What have I recently finished reading?

The Olympian Affair was such a fun read! I love the world building and the characters and of course the cats! I can’t get enough of those cats!

A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon was ok. I liked it better than a few other supernatural romances, but it still seemed to be missing that certain something that would have made me love it.

The Man Wi th No Face was excellent and certainly held up to time. It was another mystery that had a bit of a twist at the end. I also liked that we got to see things from the killer’s perspective as well.

I just loved The Chalice of the Gods! It was such a joy to spend time with the trio and to listen to Percy’s snark. It is a quick read so I was able to get in done in two days. My review will be up tomorrow.

What will I read next?

System Collapse is the next ARC I need to read. I am so looking forward to spending time with Murderbot again.

Going Zero is the next library book I plan on reading. I am really looking forward to starting this techno thriller!

A Blight of Blackwings is the second book in the Seven Kennings series. I listened to A Plague of Giants back in 2020, but put off this one until I was closer to the last book coming out. These are super long books, but really entertaining!
