WWW Wednesday

This was an excellent week! I hadn’t realized just how many books I read this week until I sat down to write up this post. I was quite shocked that it was six. Three of them were audiobooks and one of those was only two hours long. But still. I have been working on a couple of big projects which gave me lots of time for listening, which was good, because the weather has been sucky so no walking time the last few days. I’m not done with either project so I suspect there will be a lot of audiobooks in my future.

What am I currently reading?

The Improbable Meet Cute has been a lot of fun. I have one more story to read which I will probably do this morning. A perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day!

Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide to the Care and Feeding of British Dragons is a really enjoyable read. I am sorry I waited so long to read it.

A Trail Through Time is my current audiobook. I am just starting it today, but I am really looking forward to listening to it.

What have I recently finished reading?

A Grave Robbery was just as much fun as the other eight books in this wonderful historical mystery series. I just adored it and had a lot of fun reading it.

Fuzzy Nation was excellent and really makes you think about what it means to be sentient. I loved the Fuzzys and the main character was a great guy even when he was a little being a bit unorthodox in his methods.

I still have mixed feelings about One of the Good Guys. I liked the first two thirds of the book, but then it went a little off for me towards the end. I also can’t decide if I liked the ending or not.

Finlay Donovan Knocks ’em Dead was such a good listen. I really am enjoying the audiobooks of this series. 

Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank was a fun little novella about Finlay’s best friend and confidant Vero. It did not totally answer all of my questions about her, but I do have a better understanding of who she is.

Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun was also a really good listen, just as the other two. I’m really glad that I decided to reread these before picking up the next one, I had forgotten so much. 

What will I read next?

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the next ARC I need to read and will probably be starting it today. I am so looking forward to seeing what Finlay and Vero get up to this time.

A Quantum Love Story is my next book that I plan on reading. I am so looking forward to reading this one.

Holmes Marple & Poe is the next book up on my holds list, but I don’t think I will be getting it in time for it to be next. If it doesn’t come in time, I’m not sure what I will listen to next, but will probably do the next one in the St. Mary’s series.
