WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Anyone else out there glad that it is Wednesday? I really like sharing my reading on a weekly basis and this is such a fun post to put together. I also quite enjoy reading everyone else’s WWW posts. I often find new books to add to my ever growing reading list. I had a somewhat busy week, but I still managed to finish four books, two of them audiobooks. They were both pretty short, but the narrators were excellent on both of them. My other reads were pretty good too.

What am I currently reading?

The Reappearance of Rachel Price is my current ARC and so far I am enjoying it. I’m not sure if I totally trust the main character, Bel, but I can’t wait to find out what happened to her mother.

Close To Shore is a nonfiction book about the first shark attacks on US beaches in the early 1900’s. So far it is a little slow moving, but still interesting, as the author is introducing us to the people involved in the tragedy.

Bless Your Heart is my current audiobook and I have only just started it. I am however liking the characters and the story is shaping up to be quite entertaining.

What have I recently finished reading?

Court of Wanderers was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I still love the characters and I liked how the book ended, but I felt very confused and underwhelmed the whole time I was reading it.

Thirteen Ways to Kill Lulabelle Rock was an interesting read. It made me think a lot of what it means to be self aware and about individuality.

Holmes, Marple & Poe was a really fun audiobook. I loved all of the characters and we had not one but several mysteries to solve. I am hoping it will be a series as I would love to spend more time with this group.

The Fury is the audiobook that I have just finished. I can see why it has been getting the hype on social media.

What will I read next?

Close to Death is the next book in the Hawthorne and Horowitz series and the next ARC I need to read. I am looking forward to this one.

A Door in the Dark is a book I have been itching to read for awhile. I am finally glad I got a hold of a copy and I can’t wait to dive in.

I’m hoping that Bride will be my next audiobook, but that will depend on whether or not my hold comes through at the right time. If it doesn’t I’m not sure what I will listen to instead.

Well that is it for this week. I hope you have all been having great reading weeks and are doing well. Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I love WWW Wednesday posts and I get so many great recommendations from seeing what other people have enjoyed. I really want to read the next Anthony Horowitz and that cover for Door in the Dark looks so atmospheric.
