Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.

A pretty slow week for adding books to my shelves. I had no holds come in, so I skipped my weekly trip to the library. I only added three books, one an ARC that I am very excited about as it is by a favorite author and the other is one I purchased, also by a favorite author. Finally I added an audiobook.

Books I have added to my shelves

Cast Iron is a book that I purchased when I visited my favorite local indie bookstore this week. I didn’t know when I bought it that it is the sixth book in a series, The Enzo Files. But luckily my library has copies of the other books.

Dry Bones (aka Extraordinary People) is the first book in the Enzo Files series. I was able to get the audiobook, and will start listening to it in a couple of days once I am done with my current listen. It is a different reader this time than other books by this author, but I am willing to give him a chance.

Haunted Ever After (August 13th) is the ARC that I was recently approved for. I loved Jen Deluca’s Well Met series so I am looking forward to diving into this new one. It will be interesting to see what she does with the paranormal romance genre. Now if I could only get them to change that cover, sorry not a fan.

So that is it for this week. I should have more next week, as I have two books on their way to me at the library, maybe even three if my audiobook hold comes through as well. But I am pretty happy with this small but good book haul. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
