The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
It has been a busy week with lots of household chores. We have started the large chore of decluttering the house we have lived in for twenty years! So much stuff we have accumulated. I have been cleaning out my son’s room and that has been a bit hard, all those childhood memories. But it has been a huge relief at the same time, and a bit of feeling proud of accomplishing something I have wanted to do for a long time.
Most of my down time this week has been spent reading. I somehow managed to read 5 books, and only one of them was an audiobook. I have been doing a lot of listening while I declutter and clean. I pretty much enjoyed all of them at some level.
What am I currently reading?

Slow Dance has been such a wonderful read, and I am sure the ending is probably going to be bittersweet. I am almost done with this one and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
Canines and Cocktails is book with three novellas by three different authors. I am only just starting this one, but I am looking forward to all of these fun stories.
The Last Murder at the End of the World is my current audiobook and I am enjoying it. It is a bit on the weird side and I’m not sure where it is going, but I am enjoying the ride.
What have I recently finished reading?

The Love of My Afterlife was a really fast and fun read. I had a few issues with it, but overall I did enjoy it.
The Backyard Bird Chronicles was such a delightful read. I enjoyed reading about all of the birds and looking at the illustrations.
A Slow Fire Burning was also a solidly good read. The mystery wasn’t all that hard to solve, but the journey was a good one.
The Mars House was good, but way too long. It was a very interesting look at how life on Mars might work out. I did like the characters, but the plot was way too slow moving.
The Regatta Mystery and Other Stories was ok. This was only my second book by Agatha Christie, and I think I like watching the adaptations of her work better than reading them.
What will I read next?

Relight My Fire will be my next ebook. I still have two ARCs I need to read this month, but I think they will be quick reads, so I am taking a break to read this book that I have been wanting to read for months.
Right Here Right Now is my next library book. This is a YA mystery science fictiony book that I am reading for one of my challenges.
Dreadful is the next audiobook book I have cued up on my Libby app. I am looking forward to listening to this and hope it is as funny as it sounds.

Well I have to get back to my cleaning and sorting! Hopefully I will still find time to read as we get the house all sorted out. I hope you have all been having a marvelous reading week and that you are all well and happy. Until next…
Listening to Audio books while you’re clearing out stuff sounds like a great way of making the job more enjoyable. Glad that you enjoyed all of your reads this week. I loved The Mars House but I do enjoy slower paced books generally.

Audiobooks are the best! I sometimes enjoy slower paced books, but this one just kept losing my interest because of it. It might have been the narrator too.

I don’t listen to audiobooks as I prefer to listen to music while I’m doing stuff. I imagine that the narrator must make a huge difference to the book though

I feel the same way about Christie.
