Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.

Kind of a slow week as far as adding books to my stacks. But this is a good thing, as I need to get caught up on some of the books I need to read this month. I did finally have two holds come it, and it was nice to get back into my local library branch. I also downloaded another audiobook as I seem to be getting through them pretty quickly. I haven’t added any ARC’s to my list either. I have been staying away from Netgalley because I have committed to way too many books in the next few months, so I need to get caught up on those before adding more to my list.

Library books I have added to my bedside stack

Sweet Nightmare is a book I have some mixed feelings about already. I loved the first couple of books in her Crave series, but the last ones just didn’t work for me. This one is set in that world, but has a totally new cast of characters, so I am willing to give it a chance.

A Tempest of Tea is a book I keep seeing around the blogs and most of the reviews were good enough that I have decided to give it a chance. Historical fantasy sometimes doesn’t work for me, but I am hoping this one will be a win.

Blacklight Blue is an audiobook that I loaded onto my Libby app this week. I seem to be burning through audiobooks lately so while I am waiting on some more holds I thought I would go back to this series. This is the third book in the Enzo Files series and I am looking forward to listening to it.

Well that is it for this week’s installment of Stacking the Shelves. I can’t wait to read all of your posts and the wonderful books you’ve added to you TBRs. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
