Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.

I didn’t think I was going to have anything to post this week, but then surprise! Two of my library holds came in and I was approved for another 2025 ARC. I also picked up one more short story collection from the library while I was there.

Library books I have added to my bedside stack

It’s Only a Game was a book I was planning on reading in November for one of my challenges, but there was a quite a few holds on it, so I decided to put it on hold thinking it wouldn’t come until closer to November. But of course it showed up now! The library must have bought more copies or something. Hopefully the holds will die down enough that I can keep it till next month.

Miniatures is a short story collection by a favorite author that I saw sitting all lonely on the shelf. I just couldn’t resist those critters on the cover, so I had to take it home with me.

Paladin’s Faith is the next audiobook that just became available today. I am so excited for this one and hope I get to start it in the next few days.

ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account

The Language of Birds doesn’t come out until May, and I usually don’t take ARCs that far out, but this one just sounded to good to pass up. I just love quirky teen mysteries that involves solving puzzles, secret codes and riddles. Plus there is a dog sidekick! I just might have to read this one early.

That’s it for this week’s Stacking the Shelves post. I need to get back to my reading now.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!
