Prompt: Water

About this picture:
One of the best things about the city where I live, is all of the small pockets of natural areas that are just tucked away and sometimes hidden within the urban setting. This is a park in the northernmost part of Lake Washington. It is rather small, only 110 acres, but it is a great place to see birds, especially water fowl. We have a group of swans that spends every winter here. And tons of ducks that come and go depending on the season. If you are lucky you might even see a beaver swimming about.
I had a hard time choosing a picture for this prompt, not because I didn’t have plenty of pictures to choose from, but I wanted one that showed the beauty of where I live. I thought this one does a nice job of capturing why I love living here.
Love the mirror effect in the water. Just beautiful!
