What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! I hope the world is treating you well. I had a pretty good week reading wise. I really enjoyed all of my books that I finished this week and my current ones are pretty good too. Plus when I finish my books this week I will have completed my April TBR.

What am I currently reading?

My Friends is my current and last ARC for April. This is only the second book by Fredrik Backman that I have read and so far I am liking it. Although I am struggling a little bit with the writing style.

The Wolf Tree is pretty good so far. I love the descriptions of the island, you really feel the desolation of the place. Not sure about the main character yet, but the mystery is so far very intriguing.

The Ragpicker King is my current audiobook and I am really enjoying it. I am more than half way through and I am excited to see where this one is going to end.

What have I recently finished reading?

Marble Hall Murders was very good and I really enjoyed it. This is the third one in this series , but it is the first one that I have read. It was a tricky one to solve.

How to Solve Your Own Murder was also a fun one to read and also very tricky to solve. I enjoyed the dual timeline and the characters.

Painted Devils was a reread, but I enjoyed it just as much this time around as the first. I had forgotten how funny it was.

What will I read next?

The Listeners is the next ARC that I need to pick up. This is a historical mystery that has some magical realism in it as well. I sounds fantastic and given the author I am sure I will enjoy it.

I think Shadow of the Eternal Watcher will be my next library book, but I’m not sure. I might pick up something else depending on my mood.

Cold Iron Task will hopefully be my next audiobook. If it doesn’t show up on my Libby app when I am done with my current listen then I do have a couple of short books picked out to listen to until it does.

Well I am excited about my reading in the coming weeks. Not only do I have some great ARCs to read in May, but I have some other books I have been meaning to get to on my list for the month as well. May your reading be wonderful! Until next time…

Happy Reading!
