My February 2026 TBR

Happy Saturday to you all. Is it just me or did January seem like a very long month? It is hard to believe that I am already talking about what I am going to read in February. For such a short month I have lots of books to read. Hopefully I will get to them all.

Usually I have lots of romance books picked out for the month of love, but I think I burned myself out on romances in December, at least contemporary ones. There are a couple of romantasies in my stack this month, but otherwise it is mixed bag of genres.

ARCs I need to read

Entwined is the first book in a duology by the author who wrote the Winter Sea Trilogy. I loved that series and I am looking forward to reading this historical fantasy.

When the Rain Came is a YA dystopian by an author who I really like. It is the first book in a series and as you can guess it has to do with climate change. But it is also about survival and resilience.

The Escape Game is another YA book but this time it is a mystery thriller. It is set in a escape room game show and it promises to be pretty good I think.

The Geomagician is a historical fantasy with a main character that is a real person. Mary Anning was a woman in Victorian times who was a well known fossil hunter. Should be interesting.

Other books I plan to read

The Man on the Endless Stair is a historical mystery thriller that has to do with authors and finishing a book. Sounded interesting and I really like that cover.

Murderland is my nonfiction choice for the month. It is an interesting look as to why so many serial killers were roaming the Pacific Northwest during the 1970s and 80s.

Salvagia is a dystopian mystery thriller set in a future where most of Florida is underwater. It just sounds very intriguing .

Game Changer is a book by a favorite author that I somehow missed when it came out a few years ago. It is a YA book about a kid who is somehow transported to other dimensions after a football injury.

So many good books coming out this month, it is going to be hard to choose which other books I might read. I hope you all have some great books picked out to snuggle up with this month. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
