About this picture:
Blue herons are pretty common around here, but I never get tired of seeing them. I just love how they can stand so still waiting for the perfect meal to swim by and then strike at a speed that you almost can’t see. I take a lot of pictures at this particular park on the lake near my house, but this one seemed to fit this prompt the best.
