Really Challenging Myself in 2026
Happy New Year everyone! I wish you all happiness and health and of course good books to read. This post is all about the fiction reading challenges I am planning on doing in 2026. I have decided on four this year as well as my nonfiction challenge that I do every year.
My 2026 Nonfiction Challenge
The new year is almost here so it is time to start setting my challenge goals. I am once again going to participate in the Nonfiction Challenge hosted by Shellyrae at Bookedout. I have some really good books picked out for the challenge this year and hoping to read 12 books again.

2025 Nonfiction Challenge Completed!
Another challenge is completed! I managed to pass my goal of ten books, but mostly because my brain doesn’t remember anything. Half way through the year I kept thinking that my original goal was to read 12 books, one in each category so that is what ended up happening. I’m not sad though, because I read some great books.
Book Review: Nonfiction Challenge #13
A review for the nonfiction book The Un-Discovered Islands by Malachy Tallack and illustrated by Katie Scott. This is a very interesting look at the many islands throughout history that were ‘discovered’ and later found to be false. There are many reasons why these islands no longer exist and the author does a nice job of explaining them.
