I listened to three audiobooks this month and I wanted to share them with you. So here are three shortish reviews for three very different books. I’ll Keep you Safe is a mystery thriller by the wonderful Peter May. The Spellman Files is a funny look at a very dysfunctional family. And finally, Iron Flame the second book in the Empyrean series.
I have been catching up on some of the books that I wanted to read in 2023 but didn’t get around to for various reasons. Last week I managed to get two of them done, The Seven Year Slip by Ashley poston and The Witchwood Knot by Olivia Atwater. These are two very different stories, but both have fantasy elements. I liked both of them, but was a bit surprised that I didn’t fall in love with either of them.
A review for a well crafted psychological thriller that will be coming out at the end of January. Twenty-Seven Minutes by Ashley Tate is full of unlikable, unreliable narrators and a twisty plot that will keep you guessing until the very end.
