A review for the soon to be released second book in the Witch’s Compendium of Monsters, Monstrous Nights by Genoveva Dimova. I enjoyed this one just as much as the first book. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This is a review for the fourth book in the Stranger Times series, Relight My Fire, by C. K. Mcdonnell. This is my favorite by far and I often found myself laughing out loud as I read. If you have not yet started this series, now is the time to.
A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. This week’s pick is a romance book with a supernatural twist to it.
Two reviews for you today, one new book and one book that was published a few years ago. Both were good solid reads, although both were very slow moving at least for me. A Step Past Darkness is a mystery thriller that has a supernatural twist. Endless Water, Starless Sky is the ending of a duology based on the Romeo and Juliet tale.
A review for the new Novella by Veronica Roth, When Among Crows. A riveting dark urban fantasy that takes a look at the themes of redemption, atonement and the things that we fear in life. It is also based on Slavic Mythology and tackles the societal issues of what makes a monster.
I really enjoyed this audiobook version of Bride by Ali Hazelwood. This is my first book by this author, but I don’t think it will be my last. I loved this take on Vampyres and Weres and the romance was just smutty enough without going to far.
