What am I currently reading?
What have I recently finished reading?
What will I read next?

A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett Publication Date: April 1, 2025 Summary from Netgalley: In the canton of Yarrowdale, at the very edge
A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. This week’s pick is a new story from one of my favorite authors. Hemlock & Silver is a Snow White retelling full of poison, intrigue, magic and most importantly a cat.
Three very short reviews of three middle grade books that I read in the last couple of weeks. Two are fiction and one is nonfiction. The First State of Being is wonderful historical science fiction story about Y2K. The Bletchley Riddle is set during WWII and it is about two siblings searching for their mother. Loch Ness Uncovered is about the Loch Ness Monster and how the story began and the evidence of the hoaxes that have perpetuated over the years.
A review for the adult fantasy novel Blood of Hercules by Jasmine Mas. A dystopian world with greek mythology has at its core a young woman trying to survive when everything is stacked against her and things are not what they seem. I am not a huge fan of the book, but I liked the audiobook.
The birthstone for March is the Aquamarine. It is such a pretty and soothing color. It’s color range is from light blue to light green so it was pretty easy to find some book covers to match. This month I found three books I want to read and three that I have already read to talk about.
