Book Review: A Biography

A review for The First Female Fossil Hunter: The Life and Legacy of Mary Anning by Jayson Kowinsky. This was an interesting biography about a woman who was ahead of her time. She helped shape the growing field of paleontology because of the dinosaur fossils she discovered near her home in Lyme Regis, England.

Book Review: Nonfiction Challenge #13

A review for the nonfiction book The Un-Discovered Islands by Malachy Tallack and illustrated by Katie Scott. This is a very interesting look at the many islands throughout history that were ‘discovered’ and later found to be false. There are many reasons why these islands no longer exist and the author does a nice job of explaining them.
