What Am I Currently Reading?

A Fatal Lie is the current ARC that I am reading and I am enjoying it so much! I had forgotten how much I have enjoyed these. I will have to go back and read some of the ones I haven’t yet!

I just picked up The House on Vesper Sands at the bookstore yesterday and will be starting this before this posts. I am really looking forward to reading this.

Blood of Tyrants is my current audiobook and is the eighth book in the Temeraire series. Boy do these two really get around. They are currently in Japan and separated once again. They also seem to have trouble with their ships always crashing!

What Did I Recently Finish Reading?

Vampires Never Get Old is a short story anthology that I was hoping to enjoy more than I did. The stories were mostly just ok, with two being really good. If you like vampire stories you should check this out. Some of the stories were quite unusual.

White Trash Warlock was quite a fun read that I really enjoyed. It has a Supernatural vibe, but really has a unique spin on the whole urban fantasy thing. My review will be up tomorrow I hope.

The Wood is a really interesting story that I really liked. I can see why some people found it frustrating. It is a bit confusing at first, but once you get into it, it is really quite good. Although I was a bit frustrated by the ending. It was ok, but I was hoping for something different.

Crucible of Gold was my last audiobook and I really enjoyed it. South America has a very interesting system with their dragons. Lots of excitement and danger in this one.

What Do I Think I Will Read Next?

So many choices on what to read next.

Down Comes the Night will be my next ARC that I will be reading. This one sound like a real page turner and a little bit scary, which I am totally up for.

I am expecting both Get a Clue and Five Total Strangers from the library any day now so which one I read next will depend on which one shows up first. But really looking forward to reading both of these.

League of Dragons is the final book in the Temeraire series. I can’t believe I am finally at the end of this series. I have really enjoyed this series and highly recommend it to anyone who likes historical fantasy with dragons.
