That Weekend is my current ARC. I am looking forward to this as I have enjoyed other books by this author.
Cemetery Boys is my current audiobook and so far I am enjoying it. It is a little slow though, but it seems like it will pick up soon.
The Box in the Woods was so good! I thoroughly enjoyed spending time solving a murder mystery with Stevie and the gang.
I ended up enjoying Uprooted after I stopped listening to the audiobook and read it. I really enjoyed the story and the characters.
Other Words for Home was really good. I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to sharing it with my students.
Ark is a very short story in the Forward Collection. I have actually read three of these since last week, but they are all so short it didn’t seem like I should count them all separately. I have two more of them to go to be done with the whole thing.
Slough House was so good, but god that ending! It is going to be super hard to wait for the next one, and there had better be a next one. I can’t be left hanging and wondering about the ending forever!
I so enjoyed Spin the Dawn last year that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this author’s next book. Six Crimson Cranes is the next ARC that I need to read for July and I can’t wait to get started on it.
I so enjoyed the Spellbreaker books last month that I went out and bought more of her books. The Paper Magician is the first book in the series and I hope it is just as good as the other ones. This author has a unique perspective on magical systems and I love the historical aspects too.
I am finally getting around to Mexican Gothic. This will be my next audiobook and I have heard that the narrator does a good job with the story. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
So far May has been a really good reading month. I hope it continues for the rest of the month. I hope that all of you are having a good month too. Until next time, happy reading!
