WWW Wednesday

It has been a busy week at work but also one for reading. So far I am enjoying everything I have picked up.

What We Devour is so far really interesting but a little bit weird to. I am having a bit a trouble with the world and magic system as well. Things don’t seem to be explained all that well yet. I’m hoping that will get better. I am liking the characters and the story though.

The Nature of Witches is a bit slow moving so far, but I am not that far in yet. I haven’t had a lot of time for reading since I started it. I’m hoping it will pick up soon.

I just started A Royal Guide to Monster Slaying, and so far I am enjoying it. I really like the jackalope and Rowan is a fun and interesting character .

Time Villains was a fun middle grade read that I quite liked. I liked the characters and the story was a lot of fun too.

I quite enjoyed the Paper Magician series, but The Master Magician was my least favorite of the three. I just found Ceony’s choices in this book a bit hard to believe and incredibly naive on her part.

I really enjoyed the first book in the Veronica Speedwell series, A Curious Beginning. The audiobook was delightful and I just loved the banter between Veronica and Stoker.

All These Warriors is the next ARC that I need to read. I am looking forward to this as I enjoyed the first book and am dying to know how it all ends.

Imposters is the first book in a series that I have been meaning to read ever since it came out. I have been reading a lot of fantasy and historical fiction lately so this should cleanse the reading palate nicely.

A Perilous Undertaking will be my next audiobook and I am really looking forward to listening to it. I so enjoyed the first book and I can’t wait to go back and spend time with Veronica and Stoker.
