The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I had a very busy weekend again, so I’m a bit behind on my posts, but I hope to catch up today. I still had a successful reading week though with lots of good books to talk about.

What am I currently reading?

I have only just started All of Us Villains, but so far it is pretty good. We are just learning about each of the seven kids who will be fighting to the death for the last pocket of real magic in the world. This is my current ARC that I am reading.

I am almost done with The Eighth Detective. I am enjoying it quite a bit, even though it is unlike anything I think I have ever read.

I am sort of still listening to The Electric Kingdom, but the audiobook really isn’t working for me. I will probably switch to the book in the next couple of days.

What did I recently finish reading?

I really enjoyed Gilded, it was so dark and a really good retelling of the Rumpelstiltskin fairy tale. It did get a little slow in the middle, but overall was an entertaining read.

The Return was a good read, up until the end when it just got really weird and more like a horror story than I was expecting.

Grave Peril was a bit confusing at first? I kept thinking that I missed a book because of a couple of new characters and some plots points that were talked about that happened in the past but I had no clue what it was all about. I realized that there are some short stories that I need to read, so I am working on that. It was a good book though, lots of vampires and vengeful ghosts.

What will I read next?

You’ll Be the Death of Me is the next ARC I need to read. I know I said last week that this one was next, but I forgot about All of Us Villains and this one doesn’t come out till the end of November, so it could wait. I am still really looking forward to reading this one.

The Harbors of the Sun is the last book in the Raksura series. I am really looking forward to this one because I really need to know how it all ends.

I would really like to listen to the next Dresden Files book, but I am pretty sure that won’t happen this week. So I have picked another Ian Rutledge book, The Confession. I don’t think I have done this one, and I can’t remember if I have listened to any of these books, so hopefully it will be good.

Well I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I have been up to with my reading. I am hoping that this weekend will be a normal one, not quite so busy anyways and I will be back to a more normal posting schedule. Until next week, enjoy your reading !
