The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Welcome to another edition of WWW Wednesday! Sorry I was a bit MIA last week. Between a big wind storm on Wednesday intermittently knocking out power, being super busy at work and allergies, I found it hard to focus on blogging. But things are better, except for maybe the allergies, and I am going to play catch up this week, especially with the reviews. I did manage to keep up with my reading this week though.

What am I currently reading?

The Dead Romantics is my current ARC and so far I am enjoying it. I love Ashley Poston’s writing style and I am really enjoying the characters. I have a prediction on how this one is going to end, and I really hope I am right!

Mickey 7 is a little slow moving, but so far I am enjoying the characters and the setting. I hope the pace picks up soon though.

The Traitor’s Game is my current audiobook and so far I am enjoying it. I am liking both narrators and the story is interesting as well.

What have I recently finished reading?

The House Across the Lake was so good! I just love Riley Sager’s books, they always keep me guessing and surprise me with their twists that I never see coming. I will be picking up some of this author’s other works to read this summer as they are perfect beach reads.

Brief Cases is a collection of short stories set in the Dresden Files world. I really liked this collection as it has some stories told by other characters in the books. I really liked the last one Zoo Day, where Harry takes his daughter Maggie and Mouse (his dog) to the zoo. Loved that this one was from all three character’s perspectives. Mouse’s was just adorable.

Too Bright to See is a middle grade book that won a Newbery Honor this year. It was ok, but was slow moving and the ghost aspect should have maybe been played up a little bit more. I kind of feel like this was a political pick on the part of the committee.

What will I read next?

A Murder of Crows is the next ARC I need to read, but I might put it off in favor of a Riley Sager book instead. I will see what mood I am in when I finish Dead Romantics.

London Falling will probably be the next book that I need to read as it has to go back soon to the library. I am looking forward to diving into this one.

I really hope that Youngbloods is my next audiobook. I really hope it becomes available in the next couple of days. If not I will probably continue with the Traitor’s Game series.

Well that is my WWW post for this week. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
