Monthly Wrap-Up: November 2022

November is over and only one more month to go before the new year. I still have around 17 books to read to make my Goodreads goal, but I’m not worried. I am pretty sure I can get it done. I might have extra reading time as the weather has been very wintry this week, so no going anywhere for a couple of days. I have read a lot of good books this month and have many more I need to read. So lets get started. As always the books are listed in the order I finished them with either links to their Goodreads pages or my reviews.

Well Traveled was such a delightful read. I really enjoyed the romance and all of the fun vibes from the faire. This was a great addition to the series.

A Line to Kill was also a great read. This one was a hard one to figure out. But I loved the setting and all of the quirky characters that they met.

Nine Liars is my new favorite in the series. Although the ending made me mad, and now it is a long wait till the next one to see how things are resolved.

Fool was very funny, but also bawdy and outlandish. But it was a really good time and the narrator was great. I will hopefully be able to continue the series soon.

The Drop was a novella set in the world of the Slough House series. I really enjoyed it. When I was reading the series I didn’t realize there were these novellas set between the books, so now I am catching up on them.

The American Roommate Experiment was a bit of a disappointment for me. I just never really connected with the book and it was way longer than it needed to be.

Dolphin Junction was a great collection of short stories, some of them being quite scary. I really enjoyed them all.

The List another novella set between Slough House books and another really great short read.

The Archive of the Forgotten was just as good as the first book. I am still waiting for my library to add the audiobook for the third one. I may have to break down and read that one instead of listening to it.

Home Before Dark was a great read that was really hard to put down. I was never quite sure if the house was really haunted or not until the end.

All the Dark Places was an enjoyable read, although there weren’t really enough clues to help me solve the murder before the big reveal. But still an page turner that kept you on the edge.

Angels in the Moonlight was a to of fun. I really enjoy this author’s work and can’t wait to read the next one.

Mysteries of Thorn Manor was such a fun novella. I just loved spending time with these characters and of course Thorn Manor.

The Thing in the Snow was a very interesting read. I kept expecting something creepy or weird to happen, but it really never did. My review will be up next week,

Threadneedle was such a great read that I really enjoyed, I just wished it had been a bit shorter. But I get why people love it so much and I am hoping we hear about the next book soon!

Notorious Sorcerer was also a great read, but it took me forever to finish it. I’m not sure why I was so slow to get it done, as it was really well written and fascinating. Another one that I am hoping to hear about a sequel soon.

I hope you all had a great reading month and the the end of the year gives you much enjoyment. Until next time, Happy Reading!
