The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

We just got back from beautiful, sunny LA and woke up to snow this morning! Not a lot, but enough that I am glad I am still on vacation and don’t have to drive in it. We enjoyed our time in LA, which I will post more about tomorrow, but I didn’t have a lot of time for reading. It was mostly my audiobook that suffered, but hopefully I can catch up on that in the next few days. I still finished two books over the weekend and one before we left, so I am happy with that.

What am I currently reading?

I am starting A Spoonful of Time today, and I can’t wait. It just looks and sounds so adorable. I just hope it doesn’t make me too hungry.

I am also starting Five Survive tonight. This one sounds scary, but I know it will be a good one.

I am only about 25% into The Element of Fire. It was a bit slow and the court politics are complicated, but once you get into to it, it gets a lot better.

What have I recently finished reading?

I really enjoyed Stars and Smoke! It was such a fun read, with great characters and a really great plot. I will have my review up for it next week!

Still Life was really good, though a tad slow moving. I loved meeting all of the quirky characters in Three Pines. I will be continuing this series, just not right away. Too many books on hold showing up all of a sudden.

One Dark Window ended up being really good. It had a slow start, but once it got going it was hard to put down! It will be a long wait to September and the sequel, I need to know what happens next!

What will I read next?

Arrested Adolescence is an ARC that I picked up to make me read more nonfiction. It is a biography about a murderer and how he changed his life around in prison, or did her?

Last Orders is the next book in the Dublin Trilogy. There are actually six books in the trilogy, but whose counting?

And There He Kept Her is my next audiobook. It is a mystery thriller that sounded really good. This is a debut and it has a pretty high rating, so fingers crossed that it is as good as it sounds.

I have lots of reading and listening to do before I get back to work on Monday. So far I am doing pretty good on my Goodread goal. I have been holding steady at one book ahead of schedule and I intended to keep it that way. I hope you have all had a great reading week and are enjoying you books as well!

Happy Reading!
