WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going well and you are finding the time to take care of yourself and to read of course! I had a fabulous week of reading, getting in four books. All of them were quite good and I really enjoyed my audiobook this week. 

What am I currently reading?

A Grave Robbery is my current ARC and I have only just started this one. I’m sure that I will enjoy it as much as the others though. It has already started off strong with a seemly impossible murder to solve.

Fuzzy Nation is my current paperback book and so far I am enjoying it. I discovered that it is actually a bit of fan fiction that the author wrote based on a series from the 60’s. 

Finlay Donovan Knocks ’em Dead is my current audiobook and it is a reread. I have been enjoying it again and all of the things that Finlay and Vero get up to in order to keep Finlay’s ex husband alive, despite their better judgements.

What have I recently finished reading?

Murder Road was an excellent paranormal murder mystery with a great cast of characters and a superbly written story that will leave you breathless.

The League of Lady Poisoners is an interesting look at how women have used poison to commit murder throughout history. It is my first nonfiction of the year and I found it very interesting and informative.

The Violets of March was a very sweet little novel with a family mystery that was well done. I enjoyed reading the descriptions of the setting as it was set close to home on one of our local islands.

Finlay Donovan is Killing It was just as much fun the second time around. I love the characters and the story is hilarious. The narrator also does and excellent job.

What will I read next?

The Mystery Writer is the next ARC that I need to read. I am really looking forward to this one.

One of the Good Guys is the next library book that I need to read. This one sounded very interesting and I hope I enjoy it.

Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank is the next audiobook on my list. It is a short story (only 2 hours) so it should be a one day listen. I will probably move on to the third book in the series afterward. I am really looking forward to reading a book from Vero’s point of view and hopefully this will answer some questions about her.
