The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! It has been a pretty uneventful week. Our weekend weather was wonderful though, and I think next weekend will be the same. I did manage to finish four books this week. I really enjoyed two of them and the other two were good as well. My current reads are also moving along nicely. Overall this has been a pretty good reading month I think, with mostly books that I really enjoyed.

What am I currently reading?

Web of Angels has been interesting? I don’t know, not sure I really understand what is going on in this one. I kind of had forgotten how 80’s science fiction was always so esoteric which made them hard to read. I will keep plugging away at it and hope it starts to make more sense

Poor Things is quite entertaining. I am enjoying Bella quite a bit. I am looking forward to seeing Emma Stone’s portrayal of her. I will probably watch the movie after I finish the book. Hopefully this weekend.

Dry Bones is my current audiobook and I am enjoying it very much. I love the mystery and although Enzo is a little on the misogynistic side, I am liking him. The mystery is a lot of fun too!

What have I recently finished reading?

Dragon Rider was an excellent book that I really enjoyed. I don’t know how long this series will be, but I am hoping for at least three or four books.

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers was better than I expected. This is my second book by this author and I can’t decide if I like her writing style or not. I really enjoyed all of the descriptions of the food though!

The Thefts of the Mona Lisa was interesting. It was almost like being in an art history class, but I learned alot about the history of the painting.

The One That Got Away With Murder was a really good YA thriller that had me guessing until the end. I should have my review up Friday.

What will I read next?

When Among Crows is my only ARC for May that I need to read. It is a novella, so it shouldn’t take me long.

No Time Like the Past is the next in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series. I borrowed this from the library at the beginning of the month and I am now just getting to it.

Bright Smoke, Cold Fire is my next audiobook and a reread. It is the first in a duology, but I never got around to reading the second book. I needed a book that has been on my TBR for a long time for one of my challenge prompts and picked the sequel to this book. However it has been so long since I read this one, that I felt I should read it again.

Well that is it for this week. I am really looking forward to April, not only does the weather get warmer, but I also have a lot of great books lined up on my TBR to read. Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I guess that Dry Bones was written quite a while ago and Enzo is a bit of historic figure now. I certainly don’t remember him coming across like that in the last book in the series which I read a while back. I’m glad that you loved the book though
