The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well. My husband and I are traveling for a couple of days. We are going house hunting on some of the islands off the coast of Washington. Not sure I want to live on an island full time, but maybe this will be a vacation home?

This week my reading is all about favorite authors. All three of my current reads are by authors whose work I always enjoy. One of them is a novella, so the author high won’t last long, but that is ok.

What am I currently reading?

The Hermit Next Door is a novella by one of my favorite authors. It is a quick but fun read so far.

Play of Shadows is another book by a favorite author. I should be starting this one today and I am so happy to finally sit down and read it.

City of Bones is my current audiobook and I am very much enjoying it. The narrator is not the best, but I am getting used to his style. And yes, this is another favorite author.

What have I recently finished reading?

Mirrored Heavens was a little slow moving and I have mixed feelings about the ending, but it was a solid final book to this amazing trilogy.

The Best Way to Bury Your Husband was both funny and sad at the same time. I felt so sorry for these women and everything they went through.

Every Last Fear was so well done, I think this author is going to be my new favorite author for the suspense thriller genre.

What will I read next?

Foul Days is my next and final ARC that I need to read this month. It sounds interesting and although there are not a ton of reviews yet, the few people who have read it are raving about it.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong is the sixth book in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series. I have enjoyed this funny romp through time so far, so I am excited to see where this group of disaster magnets venture this time around.

A Whisper in the Walls should be my next audiobook. I enjoyed the first book in the series and I am looking forward to listening to this one.

Well another week has come and gone. I find it hard to believe that it will be June soon. Our weather hasn’t exactly been spring like lately, but hopefully it will get better soon. Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I really enjoyed The Best Way to Bury your Husband and City of Bones too. Foul Days sounds brilliant so will keep an eye for it when it’s published. Have a great reading week.
