The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Well hello and happy Wednesday! I hope your week has been going well. Mine has been ok. I have been a bit on a reading binge lately, but not so much on a writing one. I have now fallen woefully behind on my reviews, but I hope to remedy that soon.
I managed to finish four books this week, two of them ARCs, and I am pretty far into my current ones as well. I am finding my current nonfiction read to be very compelling, and I had to forcibly make myself put it down last night so that I could go to sleep.
What am I currently reading?

Monstrous Nights is my current ARC and so far so good. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, Foul Days, so I am really excited to be back with these characters enjoying a new adventure with them.
While Idaho Slept is a nonfiction book that I have only just started. This is a recent crime, only two years ago, and the man accused of the murders is still awaiting trial, so this should be an interesting look at how they caught him and about the victims as well.
Black Tide Son is my current audiobook and I am really enjoying it. Even though I had read the first book, Dark Water Daughter back in January, I am feeling a little lost at times. I seemed to have forgotten quite a bit about this complex world. But not enough to not be enjoying this book.
What have I recently finished reading?

Candle & Crow was a satisfactory ending to this trilogy. I still really like the world and the idea of magical ink, I just wish that books 2 and 3 were as good as the first one.
Remember Me Tomorrow was a well executed YA science fictiony, romance that I really enjoyed. I had a hard time putting this one down.
Trust Me When I Lie was also a really great mystery read that I really enjoyed this week. It is not as funny as his more current books are, but it was a really solid story.
End of Story had quite the ending. Most of the big reveal was not at all what I was expecting, such a well executed mystery.
What will I read next?

The Blue Hour is the next ARC that I will be picking up. I just love that cover and the story sounds amazing. I don’t think I have read anything by this author before, but I always hear good things about her.
Heir, Apparently is the second book in a very funny, light YA rom com. I really enjoyed the first book earlier this summer, so I am excited to see where this one goes.
Blowback is my next audiobook. I am looking forward to getting back to Enzo and his gang and his solving the next mystery.

That is my catch up for the week. I am looking forward to see what others have been reading this week. Until next time…
I really loved Black Tide Son. I loved the character development especially Benjamin who had a much greyer role in this one.
