Happy fall and spooky season everyone! This is one of my favorite times of year. I love the crisp fall nights and the leaves are always so pretty as they change colors and fall to the ground. There is always something crisp and clean smelling in the air as well. And of course there is Halloween to look forward to at the end of the month.
I have only chosen six books for my TBR this month. I usually have eight, but I only have three ARCs to read for November and I have a thing for symmetry, so I only chose three other books to include on my list. I will probably read many more than six books, but I like to have a few that I know I will definitely get to.
ARCs I need to read

In Want of a Suspect is the first book in a new series that is an offshoot of another series, if that makes sense. Anyways, it is a modern take on the Pride and Prejudice characters, where Lizzie is a lawyer/PI and gets into all sorts of trouble which Darcy gets her out of.
The Legacy of Arniston House is the fourth book in the Edinburgh Nights series. I have been looking forward to this one since I finished book three and I can’t wait to see what happens. It will also be a perfect ghostly read for a dark and stormy night.
Wheel of the Infinite is a new and updated edition of an older title by one of my favorite authors. It is also pretty long, so it is a good thing I only have three ARCs this month.
Other books I plan to read

My Best Friend’s Exorcism is a book that I have chosen to read for one of my challenges this month. The prompt was relationships and I immediately thought of this book. I have heard good things about it and it also fits in with that spooky vibe for the month.
The Drowning House is also a book I have been waiting to read until now. I just love the premise of an entire house washing up on the shore and then people start disappearing. Another good one for a dark and stormy night.
So Thirsty is of course about vampires and when is the perfect time of year to read about vampires but October. I just love that cover and I am looking forward to reading this one.

I am so excited to get started on all of these books! I am also looking forward to seeing what many of you are planning on reading in October. Until next time….
