WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! I hope that you are all doing well and enjoying your reading. My reading was pretty good this week, especially my audiobook. I do need to get going on my January TBR books though. So far I have only read two of the ARCs and have only started one of the other books on the list. Yikes. Well, I do still have about two weeks left in the month, so hopefully it will all come together soon.

What am I currently reading?

The Fourth Consort is my current ARC that I am reading. So far it is pretty good. I’m liking the characters and the story is compelling.

A Brief Atlas of the Lighthouses at the End of the World is a nonfiction book about lighthouses. I am only picking this up and reading about one or two lighthouses a day so making slow progress, but I find each story interesting and I love the illustrations.

A Pen Dipped in Poison is the second book in a cozy mystery series. So far it is pretty good. I read the first book a couple of years ago, so I am just reacquainting myself with the characters right now.

Faebound is my current audiobook. I have mixed feelings about this one but it is starting to pick up a bit now.

What have I recently finished reading?

All Better Now is a YA dystopian that features a wide cast of characters and a new type of pandemic that if you survive you find a sense of happiness and contentment with your life. It was good and very thought provoking.

The Seventh Bride was quite good. I enjoyed it and found the story interesting and the characters likable. But not one of my favorites by this author.

The Ornithologist’s Field Guide to Love was delightful and the highlight of my reading this week. I loved the narrator, the story and the characters. I am so looking forward to reading more by this author.

What will I read next?

Emberclaw is the next ARC that I need to read. This is the second book in the Dragon Scales series. I really liked the first book, Dragon Fall, and I am excited to read this one.

Old Man’s War is on my TBR for this month, so I really need to pick it up soon. I think this is the author’s debut book and I have heard good things about it.

Death Under a Little Sky is my next audiobook. I am looking forward to listening to this first book in a mystery crime thriller series.

Well that is it for this week’s WWW post. I am so looking forward to seeing what you all have read. I always manage to add a book or two to my list on Wednesdays. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
