What do you think you’ll read next?

Hello and a happy Wednesday to you all! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been pretty fantastic. I got lots of reading done this week and I pretty much enjoyed every single one of them. I was able to finish three books, a novella and an audiobook this week. Don’t be too shocked by that, they were all under 300 pgs (or close to) which made them go pretty fast. The downside is now I have to write many reviews. But I’m ok with that as I have lots of good things to say about these books. But be on the lookout for a lot of reviews coming your way this week.

Books with an asterisk (*) are linked to my reviews. Otherwise titles are linked to their Goodreads pages.

What am I currently reading?

When The Moon Hits Your Eye is my current ARC. I have only just started it but already I am finding it quite humorous.

Hope For the Best is my current library read. This is the tenth book in this series, and I am enjoying it. Max is putting herself in danger on purpose in order to catch the one person who as made her life miserable for a long time.

Onyx Storm is my current audiobook and I am pretty much enjoying this one. I love that we are spending way more time with the dragons.

What have I recently finished reading?

*A Brush With Death (March 13th) is my favorite of the series. I really enjoyed the mystery, the summer sweltering heat of the setting was great, and I loved the little epigraphs at the start of each chapter.

The Big Redhead Book was very informative, especially when it came to the science of having red hair. I was also a bit shocked at how many celebrities who I thought were redheads really aren’t.

Trouble Island was a good solid mystery. None of the characters were particularly likable, but that all seemed to work for this story.

The Curse of the Ten Broken Toes was a very humorous contemporary feel good story about a sixth grader trying to break a curse.

*Last Chance to Save the World (April 8th) was awesome and so much fun to read. I loved the ending to this trilogy, but was it really the end? Or just the beginning to a new story?

What will I read next?

This Book Will Bury Me is the final ARC that I need to read for March. I am looking forward to this mystery thriller.

Holmes is Missing is the second to last book on my February TBR that I need to read. Very much looking forward to picking this one up.

The First State of Being is the next audiobook I will be listening to. This middle grade novel, by one of my favorite MG authors, just won the Newbery Award which is very exciting.

So, I can’t quite believe that February is almost over. I know it is a short month, but still I thought I would have more time. I am really kind of stuck as I don’t think I will be able to fit in the last book on my TBR, which will be the second month in a row that I have not finished it. This one is on me too, as I kind of forgot that I had this last book on my list. Oh well, I will survive I’m sure and will get to it eventually. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
