March in the Pacific Northwest can be a fickle month. Usually there is a lot of rain and gloomy days, but there have been some years where the weather is wonderful. It has also snowed a few times over the years too, so you just never know. But spring is starting and we usually start to see flowers blooming within the first week or so.
February was a good reading month, although once again I struggled to finish my TBR I set out for myself, and this time I have no one to blame but myself. I’m still reading the last book on my list, and I may not finish it by the end of the month, but I’m still claiming it as done for this month.
I have lots of ARCs I need to read for April so that will keep me busy. One of them is an audiobook so that will make it easy to get done. I also picked three books that I know I will be reading this month. Two are for my monthly challenges and the third is an audiobook that I have already downloaded to my phone so I will be getting to it pretty soon.
ARCs I need to read

A Drop of Corruption is the second book in the Shadow of the Leviathan series. I loved the first book, The Tainted Cup, and can’t wait to get started on this one. I hope to do that soon.
The Geographer’s Map to Romance is also a second book in a series, Love’s Academic. I read the first book, The Ornithologist’s Guide to Love earlier this year and just loved it, so looking forward to reading this one.
Holy Terrors is the third book in the Little Thieves series. I just adored the first two books and I am sure this one will be just as good.
The Tainted Khan is the second book in the wonderful Soulbound Saga. I read the first book, Dragon Rider last year and really enjoyed it. Can’t say I love this cover, but I am sure the story will be great.
Midnight in Soap Lake is an audiobook ARC that I picked up mostly because the author is local and the story is set in a real town in Washington. I have heard good things about the author’s first book, so I thought I would give this one a try.
Other books I plan to read

Loch Ness Uncovered is the nonfiction book I have chosen to read in March. It is a middle grade book, but I have always been interested in this myth/hoax and I have heard really good things about this book so thought I would give it a look.
The First State of Being is also a middle grade book, but it just won the Newbery Award so thought I should give it a read. I have the audiobook loaded on my phone so it is ready when I finish my current listen.
The Lost Bookshop is a book I know I will be reading because I chose it for one of my challenges. It will actually fit two of them, but depending on how things go this month I might just use it for one of them. I love that cover and I’m looking forward to reading this.

So still eight books that I have plans to read, but with five of them being ARC’s and two of them being audiobooks I am feeling pretty confident that I will get them all done this month. I think I have a pretty good selection too and I am really hoping that I will enjoy them all.
What do you have on your list to read in March? Let me know in the comments.
Until next time…
That’s a great TBR for March. I’m really looking forward to Drop of Corruption. I want to read The Tainted Khan too but sadly it hasn’t appeared on NG here in the UK yet.
