The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Well Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well so far. Mine has been pretty good. The weather went back to being cold and dreary for a couple of days, but I think the sunshine and warmth is coming back this weekend. I certainly hope so. Even though I had a bunch of other stuff going on this week, I somehow managed to finish 5 books. One was a collection of short stories that I have been dipping into recently, so it took me longer than a week to read. But I finished it yesterday and that is what counts.

What am I currently reading?

The Listeners is my current ARC and I am only just starting it today, so nothing to report yet. But knowing the author this will be an excellent story.

Shadow of the Eternal Watcher is another one that I have only just started but so far so good. It is a science fiction mystery thriller that has a bit of a supernatural twist I think. Anyways it is off to a good start.

🎧All Systems Red is my current audiobook and a reread. I decided I wanted to reread it before the new TV show starts. I’ve also been wanting to try one of those Graphic Audio full cast audiobooks and I thought starting with something I was familiar with and short would be good in case I didn’t like the format.

What have I recently finished reading?

*My Friends was good and I found it to be a lovely story, but I never really connected with it or found it especially compelling.

The Wolf Tree was so atmospheric and was quite the mystery. For awhile I wasn’t quite sure there had even been a murder, so the ending was quite the surprise.

🎧 The Ragpicker King was great and I really enjoyed the audiobook. The narrators did an excellent job. My review for this one should be posted in the next couple of days.

🎧Cold Iron Task was a book that I split between reading and the audiobook. I enjoyed this one as much as the other two in this series.

The Fallow Year is a collection of short stories set in the Little Thieves world between books two and three. If you haven’t yet read the third book in the series, you must read this collection before you do.

What will I read next?

Sounds Like Love is the next ARC I plan on reading. I need a nice fun romance to break up all of these heavy books I have been reading lately.

Cursebound is the sequel to *Faebound and for some reason I keep putting it off. I think part of it is that I struggled a bit with the first book, but I still want to read this one.

🎧 Yellowface is my next audiobook and one that I have been meaning to read for awhile now. I have decided to pick it up now because it fits the Buzzword Cover challenge prompt for this month.

That is it for this week. I’ve only managed to write one review for the five books I finished this week, but hope to have the others done and posted either tomorrow or friday. I hope that your week and your reading continues on a positive note. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
