Two quick reviews for two delightfully fun cozy fantasies. Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter was a delightful story full of adorable cats. The Somewhat Wicked Witch of Brigandale was a fun quick tale of motherhood and throwing over the government. Both of these are ones I highly recommend.
A review for a debut cozy mystery by Jess Connon. A Zoom with a View is a fun fast paced cozy mystery with a dynamic amateur sleuth. Leo is a lot of fun as she is smart and very detailed oriented. The small town feel of the story adds a lot of drama as well.
A review for the book Mal Goes to War by Edward Ashton. This is the story of Mal, a free AI who finds himself trapped in an altered humans body when the war destroys the technology that he uses to get back to infospace. A fast paced adventure featuring a ragtag bunch of characters just trying to survive.
A review for the eighth book in the Murderbot series by Martha Wells. Platform Decay is a novella with Murderbot on a rescue mission in hostile territory. This is a fast paced, sharp and witty story that will have you laughing out loud an cheering Murderbot on.
A review for the audiobook version of Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth. I really enjoyed this story and the characters. This is my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last. This is a very intriguing look at how trauma and circumstances as well as others perceptions can shape a person’s life.
