A review for the newest book in the Shadow of the Leviathan series by Robert Jackson Bennett. A Trade of Blood is the third in the series and it is just as good as the first two. It has a wonderful cast of characters, and intriguing mystery and the world building is just fantastic. Fans of the series will adore this one.
A review for the upcoming newest novel by Riley Sager. The Unknown is an interesting mystery with a dual timeline. The story takes place on an isolated creepy island with paranormal undertones. This was not a scary story by my standards, but still a story with lots of twists that kept me interested to the end.
A review for the audiobook version of Last Night was Killer by Mary Pauline Lowry. This was a fast, fun and hilarious thriller that has a lot of twists and turns. There is also a main characters with a lot of heart and a found family that will always have her back.
A review for the debut novel If Books Could Kill by Kate Eberle. This book within a book is a humorous look at how a young woman becomes the next protagonist of her favorite romance author’s book, but finds herself in a thriller instead. Witty and fun with some good characters this new author will be one to watch.
