Happy Wednesday! I hope that your week is treating you well. Things have been great here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! The weather has been perfect, sunny but not too hot. I am also loving the longer days. My reading this week was pretty good. I really enjoyed two of the books I finished and the other one wasn’t bad, just not my jam. My current reads are solid right now and I am really enjoying them all.
What am I currently reading?
The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy is my current ARC and I am really enjoying it. It is a very slow burn enemies to lovers with great characters. It is also funny and is set in a very quirky world.
Terrestrial History started off a bit slow and hard to figure out what was happening, but it soon took off and I am enjoying it.
🎧The Wedding People is my current audiobook and except for the way too long, and I mean really long, chapters I am liking it.
What have I recently finished reading?
*Smuggler’s Cove was interesting. I have very mixed feelings about it. It is my first by this author so I don’t know if this is typical for her books, but I wasn’t a fan of the way the book was organized.
*How to Seal Your Own Fate was the second book in the Castle Knoll Files series. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading the next one.
🎧*Holy Terrors was my audiobook and I really enjoyed it. This book was so much better the second time around, especially after rereading the first two books. Should have done that to begin with.
What will I read next?
A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping is the next ARC I need to read and I am really looking forward to this one.
A Field Guide to the Apocalypse is my next nonfiction read. I might read this one along with another book as I sometimes do with these kinds of books. We will just have to see how it goes.
🎧Death on the Island is my next audiobook and I am really looking forward to starting this one. It sounds really good and I just love Icelandic Noir.
