The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

So I was being a bit of a mood reader this week, and sort of totally switched books from last week’s post. Instead of continuing with the ARC I had started, I decided to switch to one of the novella’s I needed to read instead. I was just in the mood for something that I could get done faster. I did this also because I knew once I was done with the audiobook for Book of Night I was going to want to immediately pick up Thief of Night and I was right. I might end up doing that again with the other novella ARC I have on my list this month, but we shall see where I am at when the time comes.

What am I currently reading?

Thief Of Night picks up pretty much where the first book left off. I am really enjoying the sequel and I am really glad I took the time to reread the first one. I think I would have been totally lost if I hadn’t.

The Whyte Python World Tour is okay, I have some mixed feelings about it. I keep thinking of not finishing it, but something keeps me going back to it everyday as well. I can’t quite figure it out. But I will keep going for now.

🎧 Emilie and the Sky World is my current audiobook. I am enjoying it just as much as the first book. I like the reader and the story is pretty intense.

What have I recently finished reading?

*The Summer War was great. It is amazing how much an author can cram into such a short novella.

*Vice and Virtue was a fun cozy mystery with a lot of fun characters. I loved the 80’s music references, and the murder was pretty hard to solve.

TreeNotes was a pretty quick nonfiction read, but it was interesting. I learned a couple of new things about trees that I hadn’t known before.

🎧*Book of Night was my audiobook for the week. This was a reread for me but it was just as good as the first time around, mostly because I have a terrible memory, so it was kind of like reading it for the first time again.

What will I read next?

A Killer Wedding is probably going to be my next ARC, although I might sneak in the other novella I need to read this month before starting it.

*When Among Crows is the next book I plan to read. It is a novella, and a reread. Another one that I only have vague memories of what it is about. The sequel is one of the ARCs I need to read this month.

🎧The Seven Dials Mystery is next up for my audiobook. I’ve been hearing that this is one of her better books, or at least different from the others, so fingers crossed it will be a good one for me.

That is it for this week. I hope your week is going well. Looking forward to seeing what others are reading this week. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
