Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope the world is treating you well. My week has been pretty good, but very busy. I have really been enjoying my reading this week. Lots of fantasy, with some other things mixed in. But so far all of the books have been quite enjoyable.
What am I currently reading?
A Curious Kind of Magic is my current ARC and I have only just started it. So far it is pretty good.
The Malevolent Eight is also a book that I am just starting. I just had to pick this one up as soon as I finished the first book.
🎧 A Walk in the Woods is my current audiobook and I am really enjoying it. I never would have thought that listening to someone’s account of their backpacking trip would be so funny!
What have I recently finished reading?
*Red City was excellent. I love how this author can write such morally gray characters and make you fall in love with them.
*The Malevolent Seven was a reread and just as good as the first time around. I really enjoyed this band of miscreants who find themselves saving the world.
🎧 Double Whammy was fun. Full of quirky characters and scathing commentary on society, greed, religion and of course politics. It is showing its age a bit though in some of the language and references, but still a fun listen.
What will I read next?
Redneck Revenant will be my next ARC. Looking forward to reading this next chapter in the Adam Binder series.
Nightshade is my next read. Looking forward to reading something that is not a fantasy!
Soulgazer is my next audiobook. This is a book that a friend recommended that I read. It is a romantasy with pirates!
