Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

Happy Saturday everyone. I hope your weekend is off to a fabulous start. Mine has been ok so far. I have added lots of books to my stacks this week. All of these are books that I am excited to finally get my hands on. I hope to be starting at least some of these soon.

Library books I have added to my bedside stack

Automatic Noodle is a book I have been seeing around a lot. It sounds like a book that I would simply adore so I had to immediately place a hold on a copy. So looking forward to this one.

A Tangle of Time is the second book in *The Hexologists series. I just loved the first book and I am super excited to read this one. This one snuck up on me as I didn’t realize it was coming out until it came out!

ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account

The Antiquarian’s Object of Desire is the third book in the *Love’s Academic series. This is such a great series and this one sounds perfect. It is about two friends who have to pretend that they hate each other, which of course leads to them falling in love. I love it. This comes out in April 2026.

Audiobooks

Everything is Tuberculosis is a nonfiction book by a very well known fiction author. I have heard really good things about this one and I am looking forward to hearing what he has to say on the topic.

Purchased Books

Ring the Bells is the newest book in The Stranger Times series. This series is hilarious and I can’t wait to see how the gang handles a Santa demon. I probably won’t pick this one up until closer to the holidays just to make it more fun.
