I just love the cover of this book! Cinder House is a novella so it should be a quick read. It is also a debut. I have heard good things about this one, so looking forward to sitting down with it soon.

I received a copy of this one through the publisher and I must say I am intrigues. Mary Anning is a real historical person, so it will be interesting to see how the author brings her to life. I was also intrigued by the magical system. I also just love that cover! This one comes out in March 2026.

I really enjoyed the first book, *Bless Your Heart, in this series, so I was glad to see that the second book was finally available. I wasn’t planning on reading this quite so soon, but my hold on A Case of Mice and Murder still hasn’t shown up. So I decided to just go ahead and borrow this one instead. Of course that means Mice will show up tomorrow, but that’s ok.
