Birthstone:
Happy Birthday all of you born this month. You have a beautiful birthstone.
This one was kind of hard. I had a hard time finding books that made me think of the yellowish, orange brown color of citrine. So I finally decided to just go with yellow to make it easy. Even then I had to really look for some all yellow covers. I guess I’m just not drawn to that color on books. It is a color I love though, it is so cheery. I finally settled on these six mostly yellowish orange covers. All of the book titles are linked to my review.
Everything is Tuberculosis was such a great book. I recommend that everyone read this one.
Yellowface was a lot of fun and not at all what I was expecting it to be about.
The Seven Year Slip was a nice romance with a bit of magical realism slipped in.
A Brush With Death was much better than I thought it would be. This is my favorite of the series.
Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice was a fun time. They go to Atlantic city this time.
The Measure was a really interesting book about what people might do if given the chance to know when they would die.
One more month to go. December babies are lucky in that they get to choose from three different stones, although they are all blue stones. That should be an easy one as there are a lot of blue covers out there.
