Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
I guess I am a day late with this one, but until yesterday evening, I didn’t have any books added to my stack. But then one of my holds on Libby showed up as available and I decided to purchase a couple of ebooks for my holiday reading. All of this happening last night. So instead of waiting a week I decided to go ahead and do a quick post.
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

A Judgement of Powers is the third book in the Inheritance of Magic series. I have really been enjoying this series and I am looking forward to starting this in a couple of days. It is an urban fantasy with a great cast of characters, a lovely cat and a very interesting magical system. Highly recommend this series.
ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account
No ARCs added this week, but not for a lack of trying. I have my eye on a couple that I am considering requesting, but am undecided about them.
Books I have purchased

A Case of Life and Limb is the second book in the Trials of Gabriel Ward series. I really wanted to read this this month because it takes place at Christmas, but the library holds were so super long that I decided to purchase the ebook. Loved the first book, and I’m so looking forward to reading this one soon.
Fa-La-La-La Land is a book I found while looking for a holiday romance mystery. I wanted something cute and fun and this sounded perfect. It is a grumpy/sunshine, one bed, romance with a music theme as well. No mystery, but the rest sounded perfect.

Well better late than never. I am so looking forward to my reading this month. I have some great reads lined up! Until next time…
