WWW Wednesday

Last week was a pretty busy week, but yet I managed to read 5 books? Not sure how that happened, except one was a novella and the other a collection of 6 short stories. For the most part all of my books were good ones. So far this weeks books are also good. Hopefully I will be ending the year with lots of good reads.

What am I currently reading?

A Judgement of Powers is the third book in the Inheritance of Magic series and so far is wonderful. I’m very happy to be back in this world with these characters.

The Undiscovered Islands is my current nonfiction read. I am enjoying it so far and finding it very interesting.

🎧 The Crimson Throne is my current audiobook. So far I am enjoying it. I don’t know much about Scotland’s Queen Mary, but I am still fining the story very interesting.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Twelve Months was of course brilliant. Such a sad book, but it was also a hopeful one. I hope we don’t have to wait very long for the next book.

🎧 The Storm was also a brilliant read. Loved the full cast of narrators and the mystery was well done. I will have to pick up more of this author’s work.

🎧 The Time Traveler’s Passport was a bit of a mixed bag. I liked a couple of the stories, there were a couple that were weird and one I didn’t really get at all. But they were a nice way to spend some time listening to them while I quilted.

The Twisted Ones was weird and I have mixed feelings about this one. The story was interesting but I also kind of found it boring. I almost dnf’d it, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do that to a favorite author.

Extremity was quite the story with an ending I wasn’t expecting. I would love to see this as a series or even a TV show or movie. It was a lot of fun to read.

What will I read next?

Everyone in this Bank is a Thief is definitely my next read. I had to put it off for library books, but it is back at the top of the list.

Heir might be the next physical book I pick up, but it also might not be. I might wait till the 52 Book Clubs bonus prompts come out for the month before I decide what I’m going to read next. I own this book so no rush to read it. I also kind of want to wait till we at least have a date for the second one.

🎧 Let It Glow should be my next audiobook and I am really looking forward to starting out my holiday reads with this one.
