WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone. I hope you are having a good week. Mine has been pretty good, although we have been getting a lot of rain. Another Atmospheric River has parked itself off our coast and we have been having a lot of rain. Most of our rivers are at flood stage and will probably spill over either tonight or tomorrow. We don’t live near any of the rivers, but it is always a bit dodgy driving in all this rain.

I finished three books this week and I am very close to finishing two more. I have really been having a great time with my books. I haven’t had a chance to write reviews but I will in the next day or two so keep an eye out for those.

What am I currently reading?

I am very close to finishing both Everyone in This Bank is a Thief and Good Spirits. I will probably be finishing both today, or possibly tomorrow. I have been enjoying them both and I am looking forward to seeing how they end.

🎧 Let it Glow is great! I am loving this twins separated at birth story. It is very cute and I love that they chose to go with two narrators.

🎧 Under the Mistletoe is a short story collection from Amazon. I’ve listened to the first story and it was very cute. Looking forward to listening to the other ones over the next couple of days.

What have I recently finished reading?

A Judgement of Powers was a solid addition to the series. It did move a little slowly and I didn’t feel like the overall plot was moved along much. But there was a lot of growth in MC. I don’t know how many books there will be in this series, but I am looking forward to the next one.

The Undiscovered Islands was an interesting and informative read, but also a little bit on the dry side. The illustrations were wonderful though.

🎧 The Crimson Throne was great and I really enjoyed listening to this one. I thought it was a standalone, but it is actually book one in a duology. So looking forward to the second book.

What will I read next?

Ring the Bells is a book that I have really been looking forward to starting. I have enjoyed all of the other books in this series and I am sure this one will be just as good.

The Christmas Pact is my next library read and it will hopefully be a fun one. I love fake dating romances and this one is also an enemies to lovers one as well.

🎧 The Court of the Dead is the next book in the Nico di Angelo Adventures. Set in the Percy Jackson world, it will be full of mythical monsters and adventure.
