Happy Wednesday! I hope your year is going well so far. I have been very busy since last week and have had very little time for reading. I’m ok with that, most of the time was spent with my son, which I always enjoy. I only finished two books this week, which is unusual for me, but not unheard of. The two I finished were ARCs and ones I enjoyed reading. Plus they were both books I chose for my challenges, so I get to cross those ones off!

What am I currently reading?

The Final Problem is my current ARC and I am only a couple of chapters in, but so far I am enjoying it.

The Hearth Witch’s Guide to Magic & Murder is my current library book, which I am really enjoying, but it is a little on the slow side and it is pretty long. I haven’t given it as much time this week as I should have, but I hope to have more time this week.

First Lie Wins is my current audiobook and another one that I have only just started and haven’t gotten very far. It is pretty good so far though.

What have I recently finished reading?

A Gift Before Dying was very good, if a little on the depressing side. Conditions in the Arctic are harsh and take their toll on the people that live there. The mystery was excellent though.

*After the Fall was a very enjoyable read, but was a little bit lacking in the world building. I loved the characters and the story overall though.

What will I read next?

Strange Animals is my next ARC that I am planning on picking up. I just love that cover and the story sounds great too.

Alchemy of Secrets is the next library book I plan on picking up. I love this author’s books and I’m so looking forward to reading this one.

Another Time, Another Place is the next book in the Chronicles of St. Mary’s. It has been awhile since I last read one of these books, but I am determined to finish this series this year. I only have two more after this one.
