Happy Wednesday! It has been a pretty good week for me, especially as the rain seems to have mostly stopped. We even might see the sun again this week. I had a good reading week as well, finishing three books and for most part enjoying them. I am also liking my current reads.

What am I currently reading?

Strange Animals is my current ARC that I am reading. So far it is pretty good, although I am not that far into it yet.

A Strange Habit of Mind is the second book in the Cameron Winter Mystery series. I am really enjoying this second book and so far having a hard time putting it down.

Another Time, Another Place is my current audiobook. It is fun being back at St. Mary’s and traveling through time with thid wonderful cast of characters.

What have I recently finished reading?

*The Final Problem was a lot of fun. I loved all of the Holmes and golden age movie references. The mystery had me stumped until the end.

*The Hearth Witch’s Guide to Magic and Murder was good. I just wish it was faster paced. Cozy should not mean that the story moves at a glacial pace.

First Lie Wins was a great story and the audiobook narrator did a fantastic job.The story ended up not being what I expected but it was a lot of fun to listen to.

What will I read next?

Her Last Breath is the next ARC that I am going to tackle. It is the last one for this month. I love this author and look forward to reading this mystery thriller.

Alchemy of Secrets will probably be my next library book. So looking forward to reading this one.

Salvagia is a 2025 book that I really wanted to read, but didn’t get around to. I have the audiobook on hold and hope to have it available by the time I’m done with my current audiobook.
